The hotel opened in 1969, when tourism was just starting in l’Estartit.

The Llenas Massaguer family has run the hotel since it opened, and have adapted to modern times whilst retaining the family treatment and care of the past.

The constant modernization of its facilities makes the Hostal a place to disconnect, to make vacations near the sea.

In 2016 the family completely renovated the restaurant. This 2019, Hostal Santa Clara has in all the rooms air conditioner.
